I love revisiting sweet Henry’s newborn session so much. For one, his mother Hillary, is a dear lifelong friend of mine, and spending time with her and her family is always a treat especially since we live on opposite sides of the state. Second, Hillary is a style inspiration in more ways than one. Her personal style if so chic even after just having a baby, and her home is perfection, plus her children always look adorable! Despite the beautiful dresses, and overall stunning aesthetic that is Hill in general, it really was a very low-key and laid back session. My sister joined us, Hillary’s sister and her boyfriend stopped by along with both of our mothers and of course Hillary’s charismatic husband, Nick and firecracker daughter, Olivia were present as well. We drank mimosas, ate take-out, took photos, and caught up on life which resulted in one of those mornings I will always remember fondly. Plus, this was all pre-COVID. (well kind of as it was looming, but we were all blissfully unaware of how much things would quickly change)

So even though these were only taken a month and a half ago, it still feels very far away. Not only do I look at these and see my beautiful friend’s handsome baby boy, but I’m also reminded of the memories we created that day behind the scenes, and for that I am so grateful. I am looking forward to us all being together soon with all the kids creating new memories. I know now more than ever to never take for granted the time we get with the people we love and appreciate most.
