I have gotten to know Sam better over the past year, and I have come to treasure our friendship. She is a wonderful, fun mom and a thoughtful and always caring friend. She takes life as it comes, offering up bits of humor along the way while always being real and honest. These are traits that I so appreciate in women, so I feel lucky for our girls nights, and to watch our kids together knowing I have her on my side during this crazy motherhood journey. That is probably why photographing her family for the first time meant so much to me! I get a lot of joy out of photographing kids, but photographing a friend's kids is so special, and these three kids did not disappoint.
