Ashley and Jace's wedding was such a beautiful wedding to photograph. It is always such a pleasure to return to my hometown to shoot a wedding, and I especially love shooting at the Sacajawea Hotel. There are so many opportunities for gorgeous photos right on the grounds of the hotel, and the small town atmosphere that Three Forks provides can not be beat.

We actually got quite lucky with photos as it was supposed to rain most of the day. It did rain, but not until about midway through the ceremony after all the formal portraits were done! I always think shooting the ceremony in the rain lends a romantic feel to a wedding, and you really can't beat an outdoor ceremony in the Fall. Ashley and Jace were a treat to work with! They are both so easy to be around, and didn't ever let the weather dampen their spirits. They knew that at the end of the day, they would be husband and wife, and that that was what was most important. Enjoy a look at some of my favorite images from September 30th.
