Ashley the Athlete {Three Forks, MT Senior Photographer}

by Whitney Bird in

Happy Labor Day everyone.  I have been wanting to get these up all weekend, but am now just finding time to get it done.

Ashley, her mom Lisa, and I headed to Pony, MT for Ash's senior session.  I had such a blast, and I always love photographing in Pony.  There are just so many awesome spots, and it is such a cute little town.  We finished the session in Three Forks at her grandparent's house, and I am so glad we made it back before dark because those photos are some of my favorites.  (the last two were shot there)

Ashley is not only beautiful, but she is also a three sport athlete, and the girl has style.  I was loving all of her outfit choices!  Plus, she was up for all my crazy ideas.  There aren't many girls I know who are willing to hop into a river in a brand new dress.  Ashley rocked it though, and never uttered a single complaint.  I love girls like that!

Good luck in your senior year Ash.  I have no doubts that it will be an incredibly successful year in all aspects!  Enjoy your sneak peek, and I will be back in Three Forks for a volleyball game soon.

Beautiful Brittney {Miles City, Senior Photographer}

This last week has been CRAZY in a good way.  I have had so many shoots, and I have so many more great ones to look forward to this week.  There are seniors shoots, family shoots, plus a fun back to school themed shoot, and I will finish out my week and time in Three Forks with a beautiful wedding in Chico.  Plus I still have a pre-wedding shoot, engagement shoot, wedding, day after the wedding shoot, and a senior shoot to share.
For now, here are Brittney's senior photos from Tuesday.  We did some in my in home studio,  but most were done outside in Miles City.  She is so gorgeous, and so easy to take photos of.  Plus she is incredibly stylish...I LOVE the dress.  It is so cute!
Enjoy your sneak peek Brittney-there were so many great photos so it was really hard to narrow it down.

The next five are my favorites...yes I have 5 favorites

 And we also snuck in a few quick ones with her brothers

Brown Eyes and Butterflies {Montana, Senior Photographer}

by Whitney Bird in

Meet my gorgeous cousin Shayla.  No she isn't a model, but could be.  She prefers to spend her time in the gym...not in dresses in fields reading history books.  However, she agreed to get her girly on just for me.  I had a few ideas that I wanted to try out, and since I was going to do Shay's seniors photos anyway, she seemed like the perfect girl to try them out on.

I LOVE the butterfly photos and even though she may have been a touch skeptical at first, Shayla loves them too!    I have also been dying to use my drop it modern backdrop outside in tall grass, and I really love the way they turned out.  It has a studio feel, but I was still able to use the warm sunlight I love so much.

 Shayla is so naturally pretty, and really has that boho look about her.

 The above and below are a couple of my favorites.

HELLO awesome serious face!

 Shayla will be the star of another shoot soon.  This was just a warm up :)  Thanks Shayla for being such a rockstar in front of the camera.  Girly looks good on you...but so do knee pads.
